150 Arvida Pkwy Residence is actually the largest (22,000 sq. ft.) fully concrete residence in South Florida and 12,000 sq. ft. of the roof, architecturally designed by award-winning Ramon Pacheco Architects.
As the delegated Engineer for the roof structural design, We provided to the Engineer Of Record (E.O.R.) of this residence, the structural model of the roof in ETABS V9.0, structural calculations book and structural drawings. This is the largest 3:12 slope clear span concrete roof in South Florida (12,000 sq. ft.) as of September 2013. Due to the fully concrete tri-dimensional analysis design, this residence is designed to withstand winds in excess of 180 MPH.
