LAS OLAS RESIDENCE – FORT LAUDERDALE , FL , USA

Las Olas Residence is an oceanfront residence of approximately 14,000 sq. ft. located in Fort Lauderdale, FL designed by famous international award-winning architect Robert A.M. Stern of Robert A.M. Stern Architects.

As the delegated Engineers for the roof structural design, We provided to the Engineer Of Record (E.O.R.) of this residence, the structural model of the roof structural model in ETABS V9.0, structural calculations book and structural drawings. 

This residence consists of a unique roof curved shape that challenged the construction method to be used but successfully achieved with the ONEVO technology and a complex structural tri-dimensional modelling. This project was designed to withstand 180MPH winds in excess of the FBC requirements at the moment of 146MPH.
