OLD CUTLER BAY RESIDENCE –CORAL GABLES, FL , USA

Old Cutler Bay Residence is located in one of the most prestigious areas in South Florida. This residence was the first project in Coral Gables using ONEVO™ insulated concrete roof system technology. It consists of a 12,000 sq. ft. structure with approximately 8,500 sq. ft. of the concrete roof structure, designed by award-winning Ramon Pacheco Architects. 

It was the largest clear space span concrete roof in Coral Gables for a residence in 2008. As the delegated Engineers for the roof, we provided to the Engineer Of Record (E.O.R.) of this residence, the structural model of the floor, roof and eventually the full structural model of the entire shell in order to satisfactorily verify the support capacity of the existing ground piles already installed for this residence. Due to the fully concrete tri-dimensional analysis design this residence is designed to withstand winds in excess of 180 mph. See attached study (Coral Gables Residence), prepared by our team.
