BRAVO SUPERMARKET - ENRIQUILLO

Enriquillo Bravo Supermarket is located on the Enriquillo Avenue, Los Cacicazgos, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It consists of 2 underground floors for 200 parking spaces with perimeter retaining walls and 3 stories, 25,000 sq. ft. for the store above ground. This structure is supported in auger piles and continuous footings. 

We completed the tri-dimensional analysis for this complex structure, which includes steel design, reinforced concrete design, composite joist design, open web joist design and pre-stressed design of hollow core slabs for the floors and the roofs. The software used were ETABS V8.0 and SAFE V7.0, high seismic risk design and wind design (180 MPH) with the ASCE7-05 wind and seismic code requirements and ACI-318-05 code for the structural design of reinforced concrete structures (columns, beams, shear walls and foundations of the store).
