VEIRAMAR I TOWER / TORRE VEIRAMAR I

Torre Veiramar is located on the Malecon in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It consists of 2 underground floors with perimeter retaining walls and 14 stories above ground. This structure is supported in auger piles and isolated foundations. 

This was the first major project working at Regional Garcia Structural Engineers. We were the structural Engineers doing the tri-dimensional modelling - structural finite analysis using ETABS V8.0 and SAFE V7.0, high seismic risk design and wind design (180 MPH) with the ASCE7-05 wind and seismic code requirements and ACI-318-05 code for the structural design of reinforced concrete structures (columns, beams, shear walls and foundations of the tower. We were the principal engineers in charge of the drafting and supervision.
